My leadership style has always been human-first

I am Sabeen — a British ICF qualified leadership coach, team builder, mum of three, and fierce advocate for women who want more from their careers without burning out. My journey has not followed a straight line. I have led through chaos, change, transformation and hypergrowth — and most importantly, motherhood. With over 18 years of experience across complex, matrixed organisations like Getty Images, Samsung, Coca Cola, and Amazon I have seen what makes leaders thrive — and what holds them back. I have built high-performing teams across Europe and the Middle East. I have navigated cultural nuance, organisational conflict and the quiet battles women face daily at work — the ones we don’t always talk about. I have sat at the leadership table and still juggled school pickups, night feeds, and the invisible load that comes with raising three boys under six. I lead with empathy and I coach with strategy.

My leadership style has always been human-first. I believe the best leaders create psychological safety, model emotional intelligence, and build inclusive cultures where people feel seen and heard. I have done this on a global scale — leading teams across borders, managing conflict between stakeholders, and mentoring women into roles they once doubted they were ready for.

I know what it is like to feel underestimated, stretched too thin, or stuck between two roles — the ambitious professional and the present parent. I have been there, and I have helped others move through it.

Why I coach

Because women — especially mothers — are too often told to wait their turn. To tone it down. To be grateful instead of going bigger.

I created the program IC Mum to Leader Mum and other 1:1 coaching offers to give women the clarity, confidence, and strategy to step into leadership — without needing to have it all figured out first. This is not about performative leadership. It is about showing up as your whole self. Leading with conviction, even when you are tired. Using your voice — even when it shakes. And growing a career that doesn’t cost you your wellbeing.
